Meet the Team
Katie Miller
Katie has been a dedicated professional in the tax industry since 2004. She became a licensed tax preparer in 2008 and earned her Licensed Tax Consultant and Enrolled Agent status in 2012. After running her own successful small practice for 10 years, Katie merged her business with Bean Counter Tax Services. In 2023, she became the proud owner of our company. Katie is passionate about mentoring and training new employees, helping them develop their skills. She is an active member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents, the Oregon Society of Tax Consultants, and the Oregon Association of Tax Consultants. Outside of work, Katie enjoys traveling, hunting, fishing, and camping.

Denise is the founder of Bean Counter Tax Services, which has been proudly serving the community since 1998. She played a pivotal role in establishing a strong foundation and building a talented, dedicated team. While no longer involved in the day-to-day operations, Denise continues to share her expertise through business coaching and helping nonprofit organizations thrive. Her legacy of leadership and vision continues to inspire the firm.
